The Client Experience

We’re regular folks just like you. We love to laugh and we want you to feel comfortable in front of our cameras. Sessions with us are fun and include a lot of laughter. We don’t do stuffy. We strive to create an inclusive client experience that allows us to capture the most authentic depiction of your story. We think the human condition is pretty awesome, so it is a priviledge to us to be able to translate that into beautiful pieces of art.

planning your session

Select your desired session date and time. We’ll advise you on availability and which time of day will work best for your session. We’ll help you plan all the details for your session including location choices wardrobe, posing, props and more. Feel free to include the entire family in your session. Pets are always welcome at any of our sessions and our family sessions are suitable for up to 12 people. Once we’ve established all the details, we’ll send you a link to log in to your private client portal. Here you’ll be able to respond to questionnaires and view your client documents.

pay your booking fee and sign your client agreement

Booking fees for full sessions are 50% of your total session fee with the remainder due the day of your session. Fees for mini sessions must be paid in full at the time of booking. Once you’ve sent us your booking fee your session date and time are reserved only for you. You’ll also need to sign our client agreement. This is a simple contract that outlines the services to be provided and the final product we are providing you with. Your booking fee includes your photographer’s time and talent for up to a one hour session, on-location. Please note that all booking fees are non-refundable as they reserve your session date and time.

Try to arrive at least five minutes early to your session location. Make sure hungry tummies are full and bring your smile with you. We always try to have snacks on hand just in-case. During your session we’ll combine a mixture of both candid imagery and posed imagery. We understand that not everyone feels photogenic. But don’t worry, we’ll keep you laughing and do our best to ensure that you feel at ease. The single most important tip we can give for how to approach your session is to just have fun. Just be yourselves, don’t worry about saying or doing the wrong thing. We’re just as goofy as you are, we promise.

After your session, we’ll be hard at work preparing your images. This process can take up to 30 days, especially during our busier seasons. However, turn around time is usually much shorter. Once your images are ready, we’ll get in touch with you to schedule an in-person viewing session. We’ll get together at a local coffee shop and review all your images. Then you’ll be able to select your session package. You have the option to select your session package prior to your session, but when planning gallery walls and print collections, it’s best to see your images first so we can create the most beautiful collection possible.
